Stardoll Party Planner...

So it looks like Stardoll's got a new available prize - the 'Party Planner'. I'm not 100% sure how this works, but what I do know is that it's for Superstars only. :/

It's too early to tell exactly how this'll work, but leave a comment telling me what you think!

More New Sunny Bunny Items

Haii!
I've just noticed the new Sunny Bunny items in the starplaza. They aren't too expensive, but most of the things are SS only. However, a few items happen to be Non-SS.

I have noticed a samll problem with the items, though. When you drag them to your medoll to buy them, they don't get placed on the head:

Stardoll will hopefully fix this soon.

SS advantages...

This is just something I thought I'd post. A lot of people are wondering about the real advantages of becoming SS. I mean, is it REALLY worth it's cost?

So, to help you out, I made a list of advantages.

1. You can buy more in Starplaza, and have some better, rarer clothes that you can sell for Stardollars. But, the thing is, what's really the point in having all that. I mean, okay, it's nice to have some LE stored away somewhere. And obviously, everyone loves having stylish Medolls. But, aside from that, is there any real advantage to having a wardrobe stocked with clothes. Sure, you can sell them and get Stardollars, which will then be spent on yet more useless clothes. See what I mean?
2. Okay, the hair. I'll admit it - it's great. But think about this - what if the non-SS hair was SS, and the SS was non-SS? See where I'm coming from? Suddenly all these nooby non-SS hairstyles would be all the rage. People don't wear them because they like them, they wear them for the sake of showing that they are SS.
3. Makeup. Great advantage, I'll admit. But there's some cool stuff to be done with eyes anyway, without the help of makeup. Ever tried getting loads of the huge fake eyelashes and putting them so they hide your eyes for a cute, anime look? There - money saving and hot. And, for some items you don't need to be SS. Sunny Bunny is a perfect example - they sell false eyelashes and eyemakeup to SS and non-SS.
4. A further note on #2 - It takes a while to get them, but I'd say some of the Starpoint hairs are actually nicer than SS hairs - especially the 5500 ones and the 4000 one.

Well, as you can see, I think that, whilst it would be nice to be SS, you can survive off being non-SS. Well, I'm managing!

How To Get Unlimited Clubs

Heyy guys :]

I'm bored so I've decided to tell y'all how to get unlimited clubs on SD.









1. Join any club you want (it doesn't matter which
one). After that go back to the Clubs & Friends tab.

2. It should come up like this >>
(your list should only have 1 club)




3. Click 'Create A Club' and fill out the form thing. Then, after completed, log out and then log in again.











4. You should have all your clubs back and have 1 more club.

New Store!

There is a new store in the Starplaza. It's called Epiphany and consists of jewellery.


Personally, I think the items are a little too expensive so I probably won't be shopping there for a while. But will you? Comment with your thoughts :]

Update on the Stardoll Advent Calender!

Hiya guys! Just thought I'd update you on the Stardoll Holiday Calender that can be found if you go to 'Holiday Calender' on the Cover page when you first log in.

First, can I just say that all this stuff is cheap, but not in a bad way!! Me, I'm a saving freak, so it's a great way for me to keep money because I can just spend my Play & Earn on it!

Also, well, I haven't been around for any Christmases before this one, so I don't know about previous Christmas items myself, but I've heard a lot of people say they think these are a lot less cheap and cheerful and have a lot more taste in them. Myself, I find them quite cool and pretty varied. Also, most items are non-SS, too (unfortunately, all the freebies are SS).

New Superstar Doll- Tao Okamato.

Stardoll has brought out a second doll in quite a short space of time. I'm not too sure about this doll - her outfits consist mainly of suits and jackets that I would usually never wear. There are a few pieces I would possibly wear- Like a striped blue and white cardigan and one or two of the trousers. Tao Okamato is a Japanese model, best known for being the face of Ralph Lauren. She has also starred in Vogue in many countries such as Russia, America, China and France.

Don't forget to tell me what you think. Do you like her style, love her style?

New Superstar Doll- Tilda Swinton.

So, there's a new Superstar doll on Stardoll, Tilda Swinton. She is a British actress, best known for her roles as the White Witch in the film Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and The wardrobe and as Elisabeth Abbott in the film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I don't particularly like this doll, and the clothes aren't really my style- There's a purple coat with a hole in the middle, what's the point in that!?

What do you guys think?

New Voile Holiday Shop

As you can see in the picture, Stardoll has added another holiday shop to Starplaza. Slight problem...it's SS only!

Obviously, there need to be SOME SS-only stores, otherwise, what's the point in paying money to become a Superstar? But ANOTHER one? Didn't it occur to Stardoll that if they have all these SS-only stores, soon the non-SS people like me are going to get tired of only being able to buy cheapies from Fudge, Stardoll, Fallen Angel etc?

Evidently not. In my opinion, I really don't like this store. There's nothing there that can't really already be bought, it's pretty overpriced, and, of course, SS-only, which is utterly unfair. But hey, that's just my opinion..

Sunny Bunny

Sara posted a recent topic-y thing about the new 'Sunny Bunny Klóz' so I have decided to let you know about the new Sunny Bunny items for your medoll. I really like them; I think they're quite cute and they happen to be really popular. They have more fake eyelashes, loads of bows and the basic neckalces and earrings.


It is a mixture of Non-SS and SS items and most of the items are quite cheap.

New Clothes in Starplaza

Two new brands have caught my eye lately.

One is the brand new 'Sunny Bunny Klóz'. I have to say, I was never crazy about Sunny Bunny, I liked some things, and hated others, but as soon as I saw the Sunny Bunny clothes, I was hooked immediately. The only bad thing is most things are SS.

Not a problem for me, as I am SS, but I still think it's unfair.

The other is the amazingly weird 'Other World' that can be found there. The things are crazy, and everything is SS, but I love it! The things are fabulous and inspire me not to fit in, but to stand out and be you. Hope they do the same for you.=)

New Suite Shop items...

It's that time of the year again...the new Christmas-related items are available in the Suite Shop!

Yay!

So, what do you think of them?

First up, the two trees. Stardoll has gone for original and traditional, as well as funky, random and wacky.

The traditional green tree can be bought by all members, and is pretty simple - just a plain evergreen for you to add baubles etc as you please. At only 12SD, it's actually not a bad deal.

But what about the SS-only 'Superstar Christmas Tree'? Sure, it's pretty cool, and probably pretty rare, but...60 Stardollars for a yellow tree with a star? That's just crazy.

And the baubles...I have to say, this year, there's a pretty good selection of decorations.

The new interior - pretty dang awesome!

Overall, I have to say, with the exception of the ridiculously overpriced tree, this year, Stardoll has moved away from the cheap, tacky approach and actually has a pretty cute collection.

Advent Calender

Stardoll have added an Advent Calender to the website for Christmas!

Every day, when you log on, you can go to the advent calender, and get some pretty cool stuff.

Some are free and some cost money, but nothing too expensive, and they're available to Non-SS too.

So far here's what you can get-
